Over the past years, Jean Marc has worked with a variety of clients, from finance to banking to tech companies collaborating with Revolution on managing industry leading clients and worldwide projects. He brings a diverse background in research, production and corporate branding to his daily work, and loves delving into each client’s industry to provide business-building solutions.

Jean-Marc is also a Senior Investment professional with 30 years of experience. Over time, while working as a portfolio manager and co-managing up to USD 12bn, he has identified, interviewed and invested (including some day one investments) client’s money with the most successful money managers across the planet.

As an expert investor in fund managers, he has also worked on numerous occasions as strategic business consultants for boutique asset managers, hedge funds and banks and has been involved in several acquisition projects.

During his years as investment advisor, he helped Wealthy families from the GCC and Asia setting up direct real estate investments programs.Previously, Jean-Marc was Global Head of Investments at Platinum Capital Management where of oversaw both global equities mandates and investment into star hedge fund managers.

Before that, Jean-Marc set up Piccadilly Global Consulting in 2009. After launching this international investment advisory firm and multi-family office business, he established an FCA-regulated firm, Even Keel Partners, a JV serving UHNW investors with a focus on real assets. As Founding Partner and CIO, he presented investors and family offices with 400+ sourced and evaluated investment opportunities spanning real estate, lifestyle assets, and distressed company acquisitions.

Previously, Jean-Marc was Head of European Hedge Fund Manager Selection at Man Investments (London) and oversaw one of the most active teams on early-stage investment. He was also senior member of the Investment Committee and co-managed a $12bn high conviction portfolio with the largest in-house Managed Accounts platform.

Prior to Man, Jean-Marc was Head of European and Asian Hedge Fund Equity Strategies at Olympia Capital Management (Paris and London). He was an active Investment Committee member and co-managed up to $5bn of both Hedge Funds and Long only diversified portfolios.

Jean-Marc qualified in 1994 with honors from the University of Liege-Belgium, with a Masters in Finance. Since then, he has been continuously learning about new topics. In 2016, he obtained a Certificate in Hotel Real Estate investment and Asset Management from Cornell University. In 2018, he obtained Certificate in Value Investing from Colombia University and in 2021 a Certificate on Cryptocurrency and Blockchain from Wharton University.

Over the years, Jean-Marc has also been a speaker at numerous Family Offices investment conferences talking about Global Asset Allocation, Hedge Funds (Selection Criteria, Investment Trends and Seeding Process), and Direct Investments (Private Equity, Real Estate and Agricultural Land).

Following industry recognition for expertise in fund selection, over the years, Jean-Marc has been involved as a jury for several well-known fund awards. More recently, he has been an Alternative Investment Fund selection judge for Investors Choice Awards (2020 and 2021) and Sustainable and ESG Selection judge for Investment Week awards (2021 and 2022).
